Prior to receiving his Doctor of Optometry, Dr. Said graduated from North Carolina State University, receiving a Bachelors of Science, with a specialty in Electrical Engineering. After an internship at IBM, Dr. Said decided to pursue a career in Optometry. Dr. Said is happily married and has three beautiful children, two girls and a baby boy. In his spare time, Dr. Said thoroughly enjoys salt water fishing. Dr. Said is also an avid traveler, enjoying international travel with his family when time permits. Dr. Rachelle Davis, O.D.
To further challenge herself academically, Dr. Davis completed a post-doctorate residency in primary care optometry with an emphasis in ocular disease and low vision eye care at the Hampton Veterans Medical Center in Hampton, Virginia. Being the only optometry resident in her program granted her vast exposure to basic and complex cases. While completing the program, Dr. Davis held monthly academic lectures for the Virginia Chapter of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Davis is licensed to practice in the states of North Carolina and Virginia and is a member of the American Optometric Association and North Carolina Optometric Society. She hopes to become a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry in the near future. After practicing in a solo practice in Greensboro, Dr. Davis is excited to relocate to the Triangle area. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages and has experience in primary eye care and contact lenses. Dr. Davis also has a passion for diagnosing and managing eye diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration. She is looking forward to becoming an integral part of the community. In her spare time she enjoys exercising, biking, traveling, reading and spending time with her family, friends, and dog Bentley.

Dr. Ahmed Said is the founder of Oasis Eye Care located in Dunn, North Carolina. Dr. Said has been providing routine and medical eye care in the Harnett County area since 2002. He graduated from the prestigious Pennsylvania College of Optometry and received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1998. Dr. Said is Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agent (TPA) certified to prescribe medication and effectively treat patients with a diverse range of ocular conditions. Dr. Said is currently licensed to provide optometric care in North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, District of Colombia, Arizona and Washington states.
Dr. Rachelle Davis is a native of Richmond, Virginia. Though it may seem cliché, she always knew she wanted to become a doctor. The field of optometry became a specific interest when she started her undergraduate career at James Madison University. After being granted a unique internship opportunity at the Medical College of Virginia and the opportunity to be mentored by the first African American optometrist and elected Senator of the state of Virginia, she decided to pursue a career in optometry. Dr. Davis graduated from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia with a degree in Biology. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. Dr. Davis’ clinical training included internships at two primary care optometry practices, a 6-month ocular disease/hospital rotation at the Salem Veterans Hospital in Salem, VA, and a low vision specialty rotation at the Feinbloom Low Vision and Rehabilitation Center at Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She excelled academically being granted academic scholarships and participated in various student organizations. Her most rewarding accomplishment was being nominated and elected the prestigious title of the Student Member to the Board of Trustees acting as the sole representative of the student body for the Board of Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
